Laura Brown

Laura joined AWC Counselling as its Service Manager in February 2018. She brings substantial experience of mental ill health and management. Her innovative thinking, passion for quality client-centered service and understanding of the challenge of managing business efficiencies are well-placed to meet the charity’s current vision.  A qualified Psychotherapist Laura developed and managed a new Children’s Centre in Bacup, Lancashire between 2002 – 2009 and established a new NHS funded project in 2009 delivering early intervention therapeutic treatments for families adversely effected by substance misuse, mental ill health and complex issues. She managed this until joining AWC Counselling.
