The NHS, via Bradford District Care Trust, contracts with AWC Counselling to pay for around 1000 counselling sessions per year. As everyone is an NHS patient, AWC Counselling selects clients whose counselling need requires a longer term relationship, making this less affordable for most clients. Long term work can include, for example, trauma and abuse. The cost for clients eligible for this service is Nil.
